hello everyone - i just wanted to share with everyone some things that happened recently. i figure now is a good time as any to update since i feel a chapter of my life has closed. it all started with graduation. a bittersweet ending- sigh ...college was so fun.

i'm going miss chillin @1250. i moved back home to arcadia this summer. My work is in west la and commuting from arcadia is gonna be a bitch DOH! But then again i kinda don't regret it cuz i'm comfortable here- homecooked meals, plasma, pool and a lot of friends conveniently moved back home as well . anyways this is just the econ graduates of '04. bma, richie, me, stan, daniel, and will are in this picture. james, terry, jaysn, and kashida are missing... sorry i couldn't find a pic. (oh i almost forgot franz's not here too. i wonder why hahaha)

that's a lot of econ majors...
this summer was chill. i spent a lot of time with old high school friends- unfortunately i don't have any pictures. just a lotta drinking, gambling and doing some real stupid stuff .
here's a picture of the napa trip with stan and yuhon..

a pool table was waiting right when i got back from napa- come over to play. i need the practice! yuhon keeps kicking my ass
on 8/7 my sister cindy gave birth to 6.6 lb 19 inch baby boy named jake, short for jacob. amazingly jake has the same birthday as his dad which is pretty cool. makes remembering their birthdays easy. i guess this makes me an uncle? I don't know if i'm qualified yet, but i told cindy i'll be his favorite. congratulations to cindy and frans. they are so happy and so are my parents. that kid is gonna be so spoiled by all of us.

to cap of my summer- me, my pops, and my sister rita went to china for 3 weeks. we went there for 2 reasons. 1.) Rita is going to study Chinese at Beijing and we went to drop her off and say good-bye. 2.) me and my folks were looking at some property up there.
this was by far the best vacation i've had. it started out with a tour called "super vacations" and to tell you the truth, it wasn't that errr....super. i felt like a cow being herded from one tourist attraction to another. it was the most militaristic tour imaginable. they followed their schedule religiously- the tour guide would say... 6:15am morning call, be done with breakfast at 7:10, meet at the lobby at 7:15.. you get the picture. to make things worst- there were 5 these annoying kids that piss the hell out of me. They would tell this joke : "what's the capital of thailand?" then sock you in the balls and say "Bangkok" they weren't that strong but man.. it hurt like shit. ya... it wasn't that funny.. AARGGHH. i met some very cool people on the tour though- peter, james, marcus, mike, and carroll- sorry i couldn't scan the group picture. some nights we would hit the town and party, but that 6:15 morning call was a bitch.
i then decided to ditch the tour and meet up with phil and charlie in shanghai. man... shanghai is crazy fun. i LOVE shanghai so much to do. everything in china is dirt cheap so we felt like SUPA ballers. Beer's cheaper than water, clubs are nicer and girls are hotter- I'm going to try to go back every year. here are some pictures:

the apartment is reallyyyy nice. the shimao riveria garden is made up of 8 buildings- each 64 stories tall. it's located in the shanghai business district in pu dong. It has 6 theme parks in its compounds, gym fitness facilities, river front view and even a wave pool! i hope i can live there one day when i have the chance.
we dropped rita off at beijing university of language and arts. i was really sad to hear she wasn't gonna come back for the holidays or anything. she seemed a bit homesick when we left but i'm sure she'll be fine. if your reading this, take care of urself rita and come back safe. i'll keep sending pictures when i can.

and in complete randomness- i mean one in a million chance- my roommate jaysn spotted me while i was reading in this park at the school. i was minding my own business when all of a sudden i hear "willow... wtf!?!?! " turns out he's been there for a month! too bad we didn't get to chill, i had to leave the next day. but it was still funny- i rarely see him when i was living with him at the apt. and i see him half way across the world in beijing.
anyways that was my summer in a xanga nutshell. i'm going to start work on sept 1, wednesday. i will be working for j. arthur greenfield llp. it's a la based accounting firm located right in westwood. on the corner of le conte and westwood- as you bruins know... the BOA building- 10th floor. Come visit me please! though i joke about a lot about how work will suck- i'm also excited about it. i hope i learn more than i did 4 years in college. haha. Ok everyone.. keep in touch with me and take care!
